The Lounge
VISIT THE LOUNGEThe Lounge is open Sunday – Thursday 11am-6pm, Friday & Saturday 12pm-6:30pm for wine pickup, inside and outside tasting, wine-by-the-glass, and retail sales.
We look forward to seeing you!
We believe the thumbprint Hospitality Team is the BEST in our industry. We strive to provide a fun, relaxed and informational tasting experience. When possible our winemaker may greet you, tell you some of his amazing stories and welcome you to our ‘thumbprint family’. We promise he doesn’t bite and he’s had all of his shots – just in case.
Guest Requirements
• Reservations are recommended, however not required. We will do our best to accommodate walk-ins in a timely manner.
• The Lounge has air-conditioned, seated indoor service. Our deck is perfect for those of you ‘outdoorsy’ types. We are dog-friendly to friendly dogs.
• We realize we are still dealing with Covid variants. Cleaning safety protocols are still in affect; including but not limited to cleaning all furniture between guests and having our Team wash their hands frequently. Our staff will gladly take time off if they are not feeling well and we will miss them. This is for your safety and that of the rest of our Team.
• We look forward to seeing you all now that we are open for inside and outside service! Remember, if you are experiencing any COVID-19 or variant symptoms or do not feel well, please stay home and rest. We wish you a speedy recovery!

Sonoma County’s Original Wine Tasting Lounge
Downtown Healdsburg, CA
In November 2004, Scott and Erica Lindstrom-Dake designed and built their first tasting room (aka the Lounge) which became the 7th tasting room in Downtown Healdsburg and the first – and ORIGINAL tasting Lounge. The comfortable, elegant, approachable, and friendly vibe made The lounge the first of its kind. The concept was a hit and guests continued to ask for more thumbprint wines.
In 2009, the Original Lounge was relocated to its current location at 102 Matheson Street. The larger space, refreshed and updated look provides enough to room to accommodate events, yet maintains the intimate and eclectic atmosphere that Scott and Erica always intended.
We look forward to visiting with you all and seeing your smiling faces again. When visiting, remember that Sonoma County is experiencing extreme drought conditions. We will still provide water for you to hydrate while tasting unless you bring your own water bottle and request to save ours. We appreciate ALL of your continued support of thumbprint cellars and our amazing Team.
