This Rhône-influenced blend was crafted to translate its region's traditions and flavors. The opaque, black hue precludes intense aromas and flavors of black plum, blueberry, exotic spices, and rich cocoa.
Cabernet Sauvignon Cabernet Sauvignon

This exceptional cabernet was blended to translate the efforts and spirit of experimentation. A deep garnet hue precludes intense aromas of black currant, blueberry, exotic spices and rich cocoa. Flavors of spiced berry are punctuated by velvety textures through a mouthful of complexities.
Cabernet Franc Cabernet Franc Dark crimson hue, black raspberry, ripe plum, coriander spice, dark chocolate and black cherry aromas and flavors balance out the rich textures and bold acidity. 2019 Sculptured Cellars – Cabernet Sauvignon

 
This Left-Bank Bordeaux blend is an exquisite example of excellent terroir and artisan winemaking. Bold structure is tamed by carefully blending to create a dynamic composition. A deep inky hue collaborates with black fruit and exotic spice aroma and flavors. Black currant, blackberry, nutmeg and dark cocoa flirt with velvety tannins to induce a mouthfeel of rich textures and a long satisfying finish,. Perfection! (Well almost – 98/100 points) I’ll work on that!
 
2026 Update: Aging has continued to improve and developed fine-grained tannins which weave into the complex essence of this wine. Drink now through 2030 and beyond.

2021 Sculptured Cellars – Cabernet Franc

North Coast Wine Challenge 2026: Double Gold Medal, 97 Points
 
Dark crimson hue, ripe black plum, coriander spice, dark chocolate and black cherry aromas and flavors balance out the rich textures and bold acidity. Oak presence is spot on and compliments the fruit complexity with a compliment of fresh herb and  a velvety mouthfeel.
 

WINEMAKER NOTES

Many of you know that cab franc is my wife, Erica’s favorite. This is the ultimate in attention to detail and has become my ‘pet-project’. The complexity of this cab franc is like no other wine I’ve made and gives me chills each time I taste it. Honestly, what matters most is what Erica thinks – and what you all think. This exceptional  Rhône-influenced blend was crafted to translate the efforts and spirit of experimentation. The deep garnet hue hints to elegant aromas of red plum, black raspberry, exotic spices, and rich cocoa. Flavors of spiced berry are punctuated by velvety textures through a mouthful of complexities.

 

WINEMAKER NOTES

50% Carignane, 50% Syrah, 100% Elegant.

Each detail from exact pick dates and locations, to experimenting with new fermentation techniques and the use of Artisan coopered barrels during storage are considered to craft this blend. 80 year old Carignane vines offer a unique aroma and flavor profile and balances the Syrah intensity with bright acidity and an elegant mouthfeel. 30% new French oak barrel aging for 30 months. Drink now through 2028.
