Brian Gallaway and Elva Lewis have provided thumbprint with sustainably farmed cabernet sauvignon grapes, which is organic, just not certified. As I was tasting through my blending trials, I realized the balance and complexity was built from these two unique vineyards: Lewis hilltop brings acidity and smoothness and Gallaway hillside offers structure and complexity. Spiced plum and currant aromas lead to flavors of red raspberry, cocoa, subtle blueberry, a trace of nutmeg and vibrant acidity.
