We have been busy creating a tasting experience you are sure to never forget, showcasing Scott’s many delicious wines, and passionately strengthening our community through charitable donations.
Some of our latest philanthropic ventures have included a $625 donation to the Healdsburg Food Pantry, as we donated all tasting fees and monetary donations from our tasting community during our December wine club pick up party! Wow! In February, we were the corporate sponsor for a local hockey club’s Wine Country Face Off, which raised $10K for youth hockey. During this event, we raffled some goodies of our own and raised $400 for the Mario Lemieux Cancer Foundation. Zowie! Locally, we were the sole wine donor for the ‘Austin Creek Black and White Affair’ which raised $30K for the area schools. We continue our year donating 15 cases to the California Film Institute’s presentation of Oscar Night America, which raises thousands of dollars each year to support over 4000 children in the Bay Area. Zing!
Scott has been fortunate enough to pair a donation or two with a little bit of fun as he has just returned from Tahoe where he poured at the Ability Bash, an event which raises money for Disabled USA Sports Far West. This year, the participants were disabled veterans returning home from the War in Iraq. We recently donated $1200 in tasting fees to ‘Locks of Love’ following our wildly popular ‘Wig N Wine’ pick-up party. Shazam!
We continue to support numerous non-profit organizations and local events, through financial contributions, services, and in-kind donations. We are a small winery with a big heart, producing only 4500 cases and offering thousands of dollars in annual gifts. Moving forward, look for us at the Bay Area CFO Awards, Rincon Valley Schools Fundraiser, Black Hawk Country Club golf tournament raising money for Rett Sydrome inflicted children, continued support of the CFI as we pour at the premiere of ‘Touching Home’, as well as all of the numerous local events we continue to support such as the Cancer Foundation, Santa Rosa School auctions, Healdsburg School events, Firefighters Fundraising events…. And the list goes on!!
I am proud to be fortunate enough to work with Scott and Erica, through thumbprint cellars, as we continue to do our part to help strengthen the community.
Cheers!
